Courses for general interest at TILL

This section contains information about the individual modules you can take for your own interest, or as a taster course before committing to a programme of study. All these courses are open to members of the public. You don't need any previous qualifications or experience to enrol, and there is no interview. You can take as many or as few courses as you choose.

For qualifications or just for fun?

You can take these courses purely for the enjoyment and you don't have to have your work assessed. If you are taking courses with the intention of progressing to a qualification course, such as a Certificate or Degree programme, then you will need to obtain the necessary credits by having the work assessed.

Subjects and modules

Individual courses are called modules. We try to offer a wide range of modules, covering a variety of subject areas. The subject areas that we offer are as follows. Each link leads through to further details of the individual modules available, or you can use the main menu on the left:

Foundation Programmes

We also offer a Foundation Programme in Combined Studies for people who want to develop their academic study skills in a more structured way. For more information about the Foundation Programme, or any of our other degree tracks, take a look at 'Our Programmes'.
